The Odyssey

The Odyssey
On a 35 meter long piece of linen, Homer’s epic account of the events dating to just after the Trojan War is being reduced to its narrative essence.
Using only natural pigments that would have been available at the time the Trojan War is assumed to have taken place, characters are assigned colours that interact according to the lore.
From lapis lazuli, representing Odysseus, to the alloy electron, representing Zeus, the story is being told as a crossing of paths, as Odysseus makes his way home.
